Arias Architecture is an architectural design office founded by Jorge Arias, who is a Registered Architect and an Artist, educated in Argentina, Japan, and the USA. The office was founded in 2004, and has designed and completed several successful commercial and residential spaces in New York and other States in the USA.
Our commercial work includes projects like Stumptown Coffee Roasters at 30 West 8th Street NYC, Beecher's Handmade Cheese at 900 Broadway NYC, and Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor at the West Village and Columbia University in NYC. We are currently designing several commercial projects in NYC and in West Hollywood, California.
Our residential work includes the design and construction new projects as well as renovations. We have and extensive experience in the design of private homes, apartments, and residential buildings. We are currently working on the design and construction of a new residential condominium building in Harlem NYC, which will be completed in 2017-2018.
Jorge Arias completed his architect diploma in Argentina, obtained his first Master Degree in Architectural and Environmental Design from the Kyushu Institute of Design in Japan, and a second Master in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University in New York. Both Master Degrees were obtained with prestigious scholarships: the Japanese Ministry of Education Scholarship, and the Fulbright Scholarship.
After completing this an extensive, international academic career, Jorge Arias worked for numerous famous architectural firms in Argentina, Japan, and the USA before founding Arias Architecture in 2004. Our work at Arias Architecture incorporates all the knowledge, know how, and experience obtained in cutting edge schools, architectural offices, and architectural practice.
Throughout his career Jorge Arias has obtained numerous academic awards, design awards, and customer satisfaction awards. The last awards recently earned by Arias Architecture include the "Pulse of the City Award" of 2014, 2015, and 2016 for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction.
